This is my entry in Dutch goes the Photo!’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Pink.
Brides bowls were a popular wedding gift between 1880 and 1905 and set on the wedding table to hold the brides bouquet, once home they were filled with fruit or other goodies. I decided to surround the bowl with flowers:
What bride wouldn’t enjoy one that included some pretty jewelry?
Updated to add:
Rebel Guy just e-mailed me this with a happy face. While I was taking my pictures, he came up from behind and snapped a few of his own, using his zoom lens. I have had my camera for years, he started taking pictures eight months ago, and he is already better at it. It’s all good…when he likes something he learns everything he can about it. Me, I wing just about everything.
A nice clear shot without the green leaf in front. I tested about ten different scenes before choosing the ones I put up. My photo of this scene looked terrible, so I didn’t use it. Men!!!
Interesting bowl shaped like a flower.

Thank you, Frank. I am always afraid that I will break it one day.
